Its Ultra II DNA provides an elevated foundation featuring a contoured alder body with a sculpted neck heel, a quartersawn maple neck with a Modern D profile, and a compound-radius ebony fretboard with nickel-plated steel frets and Ultra rolled edges. From there, Fender pushed the limits of modern design even further, finishing the body in a stunning metallic Liquid Gold accented by Black Chrome performance hardware. A custom pickup combination comprising a Noiseless single-coil in the neck and a Fastland bridge humbucker is complemented by a set of hot-rodded electronics, including dual S-1 switches for even more tonal variety.
